Peace Is This Wave

I felt as though I was being pulled to the water.
As it soaked into my boots, so it did with my eyes.

My heart was warmed by the cold ocean water.
My lips moisturized by the salt.

Shocked by warmth
overtook by strength
a pounding calmness

being honest
The water tells me it's okay
joy is making my bones dance

life is this ocean
joy is this water
peace is this wave
